Old Yet New
Evolutionary Rainbow by Yana Zegri. This mural was originally painted in 1967. According to locals, Zegri comes back from time to time to restore the mural.
This is a newer mural that pays tribute to Haight Street’s hippie history using Fillmore style typography and images of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead’s Skeleton and Roses. I’m not sure what the eye ball means…
